Highway 7B was a long business route connecting Highway 7 at Fowlers Corners to Highway 7 at the east end of the 115 through Peterborough. The entire route of Highway 7B was downloaded in 1998, with all signage removed. While the province probably didn't need to maintain any segment of Highway 7B as they had prior to 1998, Peterborough is a confusing city to drive through and benefited from a route numbering system.

Western Terminus: Junction Highway 7 and 35 west of Lindsay.

Eastern Terminus: Junction Highway 7 and 35 south of Lindsay.

Length: 6.6km

Multiplexes: 5.8km with Highway 35B

Freeway: No

AADT (1994): Highest: 8,500, from the South junction of Highway 7/35 to the Scugog River bridge;

Lowest: 6,500 along the Highway 35 co-designation.

Status: Active, but mostly downloaded. East of the co-designation with Highway 35, Highway 7B/35B is known as Kent Street. South of Downtown, Highway 7B/35B is known as Lindsay Street.

Road Condition: Highway 7B is in good condition for its entire length. The speed limit varies from 50km/h to 80 km/h along the highway.
