Trans-Canada Highway: Not officially part of the Trans-Canada Highway, but is signed as the through route around Kenora.

AADT  (2001):  Highest: 3,450 from the west Highway 17 junction to Highway 641 and CPR overpass;

                              Lowest:  2,250 from Highway 641 to Highway 596.

Road Info:  Highway 17A is one of the best conventional 2-lane roads in the province.  Highway 17A has two westbound passing lanes, one eastbound passing lane and paved shoulders for its entire length.  The only slow down that may be encountered is that from the traffic light at Highway 658.
