Southerly view approaching the Sidney Marcus Boulevard interchange. At present (Early 2011), there is no direct connection from Highway 400 South to Interstate 85 North (or vice versa), instead this traffic is directed along Sidney Marcus Boulevard. The Georgia State Road and Tollway Authority is currently in the preliminary engineering phase to build new ramp between GA-400 South and I-85 North (and vice versa). |

Note the Buckhead Marta Station that appears in the median of the GA 400 Toll Freeway. Atlanta has a sophisticated transportation network that many North American cities should be envious of. Atlanta's system includes numerous highways complimented by several heavy rail lines (in this case, an above ground subway line) that radiate in all directions from Downtown. |
